A traditional North Indian delicacy, Kadhi is a creamy, tangy yogurt-based curry thickened with gram flour and infused with spices. Topped with crispy fritters (pakoras) and tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves, it delivers the perfect balance of comfort and flavor.
Preheat the grill: Ask an adult to help you set the grill to medium heat.
Prepare the bread: Place your slices of bread on a baking tray. If you like, you can spread some butter on the bread (but it's totally fine if you skip this part!).
Add the cheese: Sprinkle a big handful of cheese on top of each slice of bread. Don't forget to add a pinch of salt and pepper for extra flavour!
Grill time: Put your tray under the grill for about 3-5 minutes. Watch carefully until the cheese melts and gets all bubbly!
Enjoy: Once it's ready, take it out (ask an adult to help!) and let it cool for a minute. Then, slice it up and enjoy your cheesy toast!
